This year eProseed will be represented by Lonneke Dikmans, Simon Haslam and Marco Gralike who are invited to hold several sessions during the UKOUG TECH18 Conference.
On Sunday 02 Dec 2018 Simon Haslam will present a series of “Tips & Tricks” Java, SOA and API Platform, intended to help new Oracle Cloud Admins to build consistent cloud platforms and avoid some of the pitfalls that can’t be easily rectified later. The session will also cover including IDCS-backed PaaS domains, cloud stack provisioning, network segregation and API Platform Cloud Service. The Session “Tips & Tricks for Java, SOA & API Platform Cloud Service Administrators” will take place at 3 PM GMT in Conference Room 7.
During her session “Serverless & Java?!? Is that Even Possible?” Lonneke Dikeman will explain you what a serverless framework is, how you can create a function in Java using the function developer kit and how to call this function. The session is scheduled on December 3rd at 11:50 AM GMT, in Conference Room 4B.

Simon Haslam’s session “What you Need to Know About Oracle Cloud Connectivity” is address to administrators of the majority of Oracle PaaS subscriptions and is aimed to explain the core concepts of the Oracle Cloud networks, including how to plan and set them up to suit your organization’s requirements, and what you need to discuss with your network team and/or communications provider. The session will also include a recap of VPNaaS. Simon’s session will take place Sunday December 2nd, 2018 at 5PM GMT in Conference Room 5.

Marco Gralike will demonstrate how to setup a fully automated audit, journaling system in the Oracle database using database functionality only and the lessons learned. The session “I Know What you did Last Summer (in my Database) !” will take place on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 at 9 AM GMT, in Conference Room 11B.
on Wednesday, December 5th Simon Haslam will co-present “Infrastructure, Platform, Everything as Code: Provisioning Automation for the Oracle Cloud”, session during which he will introduce Terraform and talk about how this technology can be used by Oracle Cloud administrators to provision infrastructure and platform services in a standard manner across different clouds using the “Infrastructure as Code” approach. The session is scheduled at 4:10 PM GMT, in Conference Room 5.
