More and more companies apply ‘the new way of working’. They offer flexible desk space instead of assigned desks and allow employees external access to corporate systems. The concept of activity based working takes this a step further. New technologies like mobile, cloud and social are used to create customer friendly business processes that are efficient and increase the independence and responsibility of the employee.
An IT ecosystem that is based on activity based working replaces fixed processes by a flexible setup of the work to be done. Smart systems determine what employee will handle what case and offer tools to the knowledge worker to make informed decisions by offering the relevant information based on the context of the case. Apart from that the user has access to all relevant customer and contact information both on the mobile devices and on the laptop.
If you want to know more about this concept you are cordially invited to attend the seminar on Activity based working that eProseed and Oracle organize on July 7th in Utrecht.
